Maintained by Russell Goold of the Kiwanis Club of Hull .
Our major service projects include helping with financial support for the city's summer recreation program, assisting in the collection of funds for the Community Combined Appeal, donating money to our public library for programs for young children, sponsoring child development programs for our local elementary schools, sponsoring After Prom Parties for our two high schools, hosting Easter and Thanksgiving prayer breakfasts, sponsoring community hymn sings and organizing an annual Community Worship Service that supports causes beyond our community's own needs. We encourage the development of youth leadership abilities by sponsoring local youth participation in Camp OK and HOBY. We also support the Children's Miracle Network Telethon in its efforts to raise funds for area hospitals to serve children's medical needs. Providing support for the area Special Olympics program is another one of our concerns.
