It works - Ammonia levels have been reduced from
22 PPM down to 8 PPM. Other gases such as hydrogen sulfide and ethyl mercaptans
are also dramatically reduced.
Hassle Free - Adjusting the Ozonaire System is as
easy as adjusting a thermostat.
Low Maintenance - The only maintenance required is
changing a small filter once every three months.
On-Site Ozone Generation - The Ozonaire System creates
ozone from a 120-volt outlet.
Economical - The cost of generating ozone for 1200-head
finisher is $2.00 per day*.
* Assuming the cost
of electricity is $0.06/kW.hr
Rigid Distribution System - All components of the
distribution system are made of sturdy plastic or stainless steel components.
This allows all distribution components to be thoroughly cleaned during
power washing.
Rust Proof Components - All components inside the
swine building are made of stainless steel to inhibit corrosion. This increases
the life of the distribution system.
Minimum Ventilation is not altered - Ozone is brought
into the swine facility and recirculated with air from inside the hog confinement.
Adjustable Distribution System - The ozone distribution
system can be adjusted to accommodate any existing ventilation layout.
This allows the operator to maintain an even ozone concentration throughout
the facility.
Safe - Ozone is distributed throughout the swine
facility at levels below the EPA and OSHA allowances. The EPA and OSHA
allowance is 0.10 PPM for an 8-hour exposure. The Ozonaire System ozone
concentration varies between 0.01 and 0.02 PPM inside the swine confinement.
These levels are approximately between 1/10th and 1/5th of the federal
limits.
